Montagu Evans is a limited liability partnership, first established in 1921.
We are at the forefront of UK property consultancy and a Top 20 surveying firm in terms of turnover and a Top 10 firm in terms of turnover and profit per head.
The Practice has a well regarded and established reputation for skills in the professionally orientated disciplines of the surveying industry.  Whilst the professional core still makes up a substantial proportion of our business, the firm is at the front of agency and investment services and has a particular focus on development consultancy.

What we offer

  1. Induction – On your first day you greeted by the Managing Partner and a number of other departmental heads.  You will be given an insight into the structure of the firm and taken on a office tour by a member of your new department.  In the first three weeks you will be trained on all the software you will be expected to use in your day to day job and the internal IT systems.  There is IT support constantly on hand should you have any questions.

  2. Departmental Rotation – As a multi-disciplinary practice we can offer you exposure to a number of different sectors in the industry which ensures you get the relevant experience for the APC.  You would typically undertake four six monthly, rotations over the two year training programme.  You can expect to spend time in a mixture of professional, agency and managerial departments.  As the teams are relatively small, you will be expected to actively contribute to the success of the team and be given an increasing level of responsibility early on.

  3. Training Scheme – We subscribe all our graduates to the CPD foundation which gives you free access to a broad range of lectures that helps in your preparation for the APC.  You will be allocated your own APC counsellor and supervisor who will guide you through the two years of training.  Many of our counsellors and supervisors are current APC assessors and can provide you with sound advice in preparation for the final assessment.

  4. Culture - As a Partnership we offer a progressive business approach, not constrained by shareholders or boards of Directors and we do not abide by a rigid structure in respect of remuneration or promotional prospects. You will be rewarded according to your contribution.
