Our Management Department has sustained continued growth and success over the past 10 years.

Our reputation and excellent business relationship with our clients have been the principal driving force for our significant expansion.  We now manage all the principal market sectors located throughout the UK with an aggregate capital value of over £3 billion.  In addition, we estimate that we provide asset management advice to clients on a further £1billion worth of property investments.  The combined managed property portfolio comprises over 1,500 properties producing total rent and service charge in excess of £275 million per annum.

Our department totals some 35 personnel operating from our London, Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.  A Property Accounts team of 12 operates from our Edinburgh office.  A management team of 15 is based in London.

We possess the resources and structure to manage large instructions, such as institutional property portfolios, whilst remaining small enough to provide clients with a highly professional and “hands-on” approach.  We believe that performance is enhanced through working closely with our clients rather than merely complying with the terms of appointment.

Montagu Evans act for many of the well-known institutional funds, investment houses and property companies highlighting our diversity and strength.   Our emphasis on maintaining an excellent relationship with our clients has been the driving force for the considerable growth in our management business, particularly in recent years.  This includes working closely with some of our clients on very high profile instructions.  We like to act in “partnership” with our clients, rather than simply adhering to terms of engagement. 
 
Montagu Evans' Management Department prides itself in adopting a “hands-on” approach.  We like to work closely with the service providers so that they are not marginalised and viewed purely as appointed contractors.  This way, we feel that we obtain better service from personnel on the ground so to speak as well as from those working in head office.  We consider it vital for all our appointed contractors providing services on each and every property to consider themselves as part of the team tasked with ensuring that our clients' vision and objectives are realised.

Management matters.  It matters to our clients and it matters to the tenants as occupiers.  It is therefore imperative that we get it right.
